★ Make up gets! アゲ! ~ マカロン★dreaming

Hah, アゲ, I've not used that in ages!
Me and my friend Rhi said it all the time when I was at Uni
Usually shouting it rather drunkenly I should add ♥

Recently I went on a little splurge of make up
and instead of just showing you what I got, I showed it in use too!
They're all Japanese, as per, but in fairness I'd heard good things about them
So that swayed me too and not just the brand lol

First up, Dolly Wink Liquid eyeliner!

I'd heard good things about this eyeliner, particularly from Bloomzy ♥
and so I thought I'd go ahead and finally buy some!
A lot of you use liquid liners and whilst I was loving my MAC gel, I may convert!

I got much more defined lines using the pen
and I was so happy about my application too!
The only time prior to this I had used liquid eyeliner was before pens
and I was such a mess with the brush, so I used pencils and never looked back
But I'm glad I gave them another go ★
Though I will feel guilty not using my MAC as much, considering the costs lol!

I was also surprised when I did a swatch
I rubbed it almost immediatly and there was ZERO smudge!
Maybe thats common, but for me, it was amazing hahaha ♪

Next up is all lipgloss
It's very popular in Gal and I was starting to feel my make up was lacking it
So I made the jump to buy them
I do sort of regret splurging on Candy Doll, but not as much as I did before trying more

I actually bought the wrong shade!!
When I realised, that alone was instantly gutting
I wanted Milky Orange, but instead bought Milky Beige... silly me!

It's hard for me to decide whether or not I like gloss so much
It settles into the lines of my leeps a lot deeper/noticeable than lipstick
So I think I will be waiting a while before getting my Milky Orange!

I had wanted this ever since laying my eyes on it...

Candy Doll Lip concealer!
I think it was the first nude lip product I actually saw too lol, noob much?
Anyway, I followed the technique of applying dots and blending

Alone, I think it looks quite ok, the Barry M nude I have is too light
So the deeper tone of this suits me ok
Just stuck againg with the omega defining of my wrinkle mouth haha

and since the concealer is almost always accompanied by the pink gloss
I had to get that too!

But the stick!!! OH LAWD THE STICK!
It doesn't have a brush head, it's a plastic spatula
I honeslty didn't realise how poop that would make the application
I find it hard to spread in a nice manner without it becoming too sticky
It comes out rather un even and because theres no brush
the applicators isn't "rubbed" on it's way out the tube to collect excess
and it strings out the tube, I tried getting a picture to show but it was hard
