I apologise in advance if this entry is a little image heavy!
This Rule Breaking was inspired by a post on Gyaru Secrets recently...
I'm glad to see from reading it's thread that no one disagreed! ♥
Everyone who commented said yes it could be Gal and a few mentioned Kanako
Then in the July 2011 issue of Egg there was a spread about Kanako's style
It seemed as though Egg wanted to only solidify what everyone had been saying
and I think what they published is a great example of ShibuHara and how Gals can rock it too
I didn't want to just post scans you couldn't see very well so I cropped out her outfits
So they are easier to see!
Pink and Black were a strong, STRONG, theme for this spread
Kanako must like the colour anyway because she tends to dye it in her hair
A more casual style
The brand Super Lovers appears a few times
and its not often that a brand like Hell Cat Punks appears in a Gal magazine!

Another casual look which is a very common look for Kera!
With a baggy Pop feel to the outfit
I love the tutu she is wearing, it looks so poofy :O
In honesty I don't think this outfit works well at all
But it shows her creativity to experiment!

Huge Goth boots! I love her for that

and finally outside the spread she also advertised tutuHA

tutuHA and Glad News are great places to start for this style of Rock/Gal!
and if you are transitioning to Gal from a more rock or V-kei style
Then a step forward for you would be to check out Kanako!
Because of clear ShibuHara elements, I think many people may still
Not want to see such a style as Gal, but times change and rules get broken
Make way for the ShibuHara Gals! I know I would love to see more of you ♥
