A post about wrestling, really? YES.
I notice a lot of people around the web calling me a Gal Blogger
to an extent, sure why not I love the fashion and I do blog about it
But I have liked wrestling a hell of a lot longer and this is my blog at the end of the day
So wether it gets read or commented on, who knows
I had an amazing time this weekend and I want to share it regardless ♥
Tuesday the 23rd was the 2 year anniversary for me and my boyfriend
Due to it being a week day we couldnt celebrate on the day
So we took our fun to the weekend and went to see the new Preston City Wrestling!
I won't lie or try to sugar coat the fact at all that we went there to see Colt Cabana
But we had zero expectations for the other wrestlers and were blown away
It was a fantastic show!
Our seats were ringside with no barricade
This is a pretty good idea of the space between us and the ring for sure
I was like "oh man, I hope no one is thrown on to us!" haha
Thankfully no one was, but a wrestler was thrown on to a fat troll on the other side!
He so deserved it, especially as he was racist to the wrestler that landed on him
and the chair broke into so many pieces, pure hilarious!
and whilst I may not have had a wrestler thrown on to me
I did have one come over and sit on my lap...
Greg Burridge (The Cockney Crusader) was Colt Cabanas tag partner for Team SHAG
They ended up having a dance off and needed somewhere to sit whilst watching the others
Yes, I did just say dance off. It happens more in wrestling than you may first imagine
I filmed all of Team SHAG's dance and you can (hopefully) watch that here
Which I suggest you do, its hilarious!
He sat on me the whole time so I couldn't see the other teams dance
But I was totally amused as you can tell by my face haha
The event photographer took my picture too but I can't see it on his Flickr
So I'm guessing my weird squishy face looked just a bit too weird and squishy haha
During the event we got to chat to Colt Cabana too which was great
He has one of the best accents ever and is just damn right cool haha
We brought him Mike & Ike sweets as he had been in the UK a while lol
He also tried his first Twirl and liked that, lol!
I had my W♥C vest on and he thought it was a WCW top haha
He's actually going to Japan to wrestle next month, but yeah... lol
We came out of the event with something no one else will have too
Signed Polaroids!
He seemed really shocked that I had this type of camera haha
So I do wonder if he's ever had a polaroid taken by a fan!
Its reasons like this though that I bought the camera, much more memorable
and whether you liked this entry or not, as I said before
It was a great weekend and I also have to say...
That I am very happy to have such an amazing man in my life to share these times with ♥
I couldn't think of better ways to spend anniversaries than watching live wrestling
and meeting an amazing superstar!
