Rule breaking in Gal, it's the reason I started my blog (★´∀`★)
and I have often made posts about my finds, but now...
I want a real push for rule breaking by a week of posting to inspire you all!
I know it makes me sound like a rule breaking dictator, Im not saying you HAVE to rule break
What I am trying to do is help lift your confidence and show you some great examples
So you can say "Heck, I could easily do/wear that!"
and bring your own personal style to the table
First post is a topic I know I have covered before and I still think it's running wild
and that is, hair
Being gal is no longer about long, ageha, naturally coloured hair
and by god are there girls out there proving that you can be wild, firece and still... 100% gal!
(*ゝω・)ノ♥♥♥
Whilst 2-tone hair may change direction in seasons
It's always been a popular choice of hair style in gal and is most commonly blonde/red
But here theres a lovely purple, balanced out with black too
By having this mix you can balance the look and not make it too garish
though if you wanted to go all out, by all means do it!
I've had my hair 2-tone in this way twice in my life whilst my hair was short
The first was Red/Black inspired by Kyo of Dir en grey (like this)
and then a few years later I went back and had it Pink/Black ★
Personally I associate grey hair with Gal quite a bit
I think it comes back from the Manba days! Hair was certainly wild then
and once more the hair has been "diluted" with other colours
But you could not walk past this girl and see anything more than a Gal
A fear that could relate to such hair is that you could be classified in a wrong "category"
and maybe people would instantly think of you as a rock person
But it's all down to you and the way you style yourself
This girl could have a mohawk and still look gal IMO hah ♪
A break from hair colour to a hair style!
Chinatsu in the past year has snipped and even shaved her hair
and here, she makes your fruit bowl look ever so tempting
Don't be put off by short hair, you don't have to have long hair to be Gal at all
and on those days you miss your locks, just pull out your extensions ♥
Rui is someone I never thought I would include in this series
But her daring mix of Lavender and Red hair was just too good not to include
You wouldn't necessarily put these two colours together but it just goes to show
Experimenting can sure as hell work in your favour
Rui still continues to look as amazing as ever regardless of her hair colour
Orange hair, as you may know, is a lust of mine
I find myself being hypocritical by not having it but I don't think I can for work *sob*
But that's ok, because Mitsu is rocking it for me instead ★
W♥C staff chan Arisa has always had some daring hair
But I felt of them all this was the one to include
You could argue she doesn't necessarily look as instantly Gal as the others do
But hey, let's not forget personal style here too ladies!
Another staff chan is Emina from Gilfy, I think she is a perfect example of a short hair gal
Especially as unlike Arisa, her hair is short and more natural apposed to "wild"
So a good inspiration along with Chinatsu for those of you contemplating a snip or two!
If for work reasons or anything else you simply can not colour your hair so crazily
Then Kanako is here to show you the love extensions can bring to you
I think the Pink and Purple look so well together with the blonde!
Even more striking than it would to just have pink hair hehe
and an added benefit is that this is a quick change job, you could have as many
or as few colours as you wanted without the cost of dying and up keep!
Kaoru, to me, is who shattered the hair boundaries this season
It wasn't until she debuted her turquoise hair that the trend took off
So for that, she needs a mention and a salute ♥
Short style and pink, Japanese singer JASMINE has caught on too
Thought not exclusively Gal she was heard a lot in 109 during her debut
and do check out her PV's! She's had a multitude of hair colours for each of them
Another great inspiration and bringing it to the masses with her music
and, finally...
I had to include this, because it is the most beautiful shade of red in the world ♥
So, that's all for hair! Whilst some may have seemed repetitive of me
I hope some of you may have had a fresh awakening of this
and of course, I hope it inspires you to do what you want with your hair!
As you can see from this post, I myself have experimented a LOT over the years
(and that is seriously only scratching the surface, there has been many more!)
So I'm happy to take questions you have and help you out
