I've posted before on the gal influence withing Kera (tag here)
Thought it's still not exactly taking over it is still very much worth noting!
Kera itself is a magazine that focusses on Rock, Lolita and Unique fashions
So seeing not just Gal products but Gal co-ordinates in there...
I can't say for sure why they have been appaearing, possibly because of ShibuHara?
Or maybe fashions aren't so strict, even Rock breaks the rules by using Gal
Much like Gal and the use of Romantic Rock?
What are your thoughts on this?
Here's what I spied in the Dec 2010 issue of Kera!
Whilst there may have been more, I don't always have the keenest of eyes
If you spotted anything else, feel free to share!
This first caught my eye for the Gyaru on the left
The poncho and general styling hit me as Gal
and then I noticed the brand list, both outfits feature GLAD NEWS!
I guess that can be passed off as easy, with GLAD NEWS having such a rock edge anyway!
The next may not slap you in the face as Gal...
But once more, the brand list speaks volumes!
JSG, Galaxxxy and ANAP are all featured here
and outfit I'm sure Kaoru would be proud to see, it's certainly her style
This last image only struck me, because for a while
I was convinced it was the EGG model Nonoka
The likeness is so uncanny! I wonder if this is on purpose?
I feel that she has been challeneged before by Popteen (here)
However, it's not in a negative way, what a compliment this is to Nonoka! ♥
Whilst I'm very glad this theme of blog is popular for my readers
and well, it's the whole reason why I wanted to start my blog!
It's actually becoming harder and harder to write about
Which at first was sad, but then I realised... it's good!
It's good because it means the Gal world is standing up
and saying "You can do/wear/like ..... and be Gal!!"
See anyone trying to say other wise, send them my way
I'll gladly try convince them other wise!
