Time for some beauty gets!
The first is a batch from Boots
I'm sure they're not international, but they're an 'important' store in the UK hehe
A first stop for many items! All the items in this picture are from the store
Make up sponges, I was really starting to need these to sort out any un-even
foundation markings on my face, sometimes my brush isn't always fresh
and with a mousee foundation it's easy to get streaks, so this fixes that problem with some dabs!
Powder brush by 17, there was a deal "3 for 2" on items by 17 so this was my freebie
Its ok, I haven't used power before so I dont really know what makes a good brush hah
Shine control powder by 17, I decided to try out a powder... obviously
It's translucent so doesn't affect my foundation and so far so good
It makes me foundation feel more set and does help with shine problems!
I don't feel the need to oil blot as much so I'm saving my papers there too
Hide away concealer by 17, I wanted a new concealer too and landed on this one
Its ok, but I guess I need lighter than their "extra fair" haha
But the Barry M one I'm using at the moment is more expensive for less product
So I prefer the 17 concealer for that alone!
Masterpiece mascara by Maybelline, the perfect mascara for me
This was just a replacement piece!
If you have long lashes and just need something to colour them, then this is the one
Dream matte mousse foundation, I was using this previously and starting to dislike it
But I was so stumped as what to get to replace it
I decided to just tackle the main problem I was having with it, the shade!
The 'Nude' shade I was using before was when I had a tan, so it was making me orange now
So for now I'm using the 'Ivory' shade and combined with the powder its working great ♥
and finally a boring bottle of hand gel thats lemon scented hah
New 'Ivory' mousse and old/used 'Nude' mousse
In pots they dont seem too dis-similar
But I can see the difference it makes on my skin for sure!
and let's not forget to beautify the body!
I was on a replacing spree so bought a new body butter from The Body Shop
I got it into my head that because my old one was likely past the 12 month life span
It was like rubbing dead, old, mouldy raspberries onto myself... put me right off lol
So fresh fruity body butter was needed!!
and in the weird world of discounts, it was cheaper when I bought the
Love your body card for £5 with my order haha, it's funny how things work
and now I get 10% off purchases, as well as a gift on my birthday
Then theres also stamps to collect on the back to earn gifts too!
and the body butter itself, ohhhhhhh
They smell like yoghurts sent from heaven ♥
It's always so hard to choose! I had a tester pot of this before so went full size!
